What you need
You need a WordPress website with permission to install plugins and published content to connect. The core internal-linking workflow does not require an external AI provider key. Paid-product access and update services may contact AgentWP. Check the released package requirements and your theme’s content rendering before installation.
Questions before you start
Is this the free Smart Internal Linking plugin?
No. Smart Internal Linking is a separate free product. This page presents the paid SP product with its own site-structure and cooperation workflow.
Will it link my older articles too?
Published older content can be included in the supported index and rules. Review which posts and pages are eligible; newly published content can then join the same linking workflow.
Does it need an AI API key?
The core linking workflow does not. Using a separate AI-writing product is an optional choice with its own provider requirements.
Does it permanently change my saved text?
The ordinary link-rendering workflow leaves stored article content intact. Review the scope and journal of any separate optimisation action before applying it.
Can I undo everything with one button?
Recovery is scoped to the supported recorded operations. Check the journal and available undo controls. Keep regular site backups for broader recovery.
Will it guarantee better Google rankings?
No. Relevant internal links can help readers navigate, and make relationships between pages clearer. Rankings also depend on content quality and many other factors.
Does it repair broken links on other websites?
