Agent Smart Excerpt Pro is being built to add provider-powered generation, brand voice and scalable editorial workflows to the approved local Free foundation.
The development engine already registers OpenAI, Anthropic Claude, Google Gemini and DeepSeek adapters, tests connections and keeps each API key encrypted server-side. You pay the chosen provider directly under its own terms.
A small editorial improvement should not trap the whole site inside one provider and two subscriptions
Many cloud tools bundle the software fee, model fee and an opaque usage allowance into one recurring funnel. We are building the opposite: buy the AgentWP product once, bring the provider you prefer and see that provider's own pricing before you connect it.

The development foundation contains OpenAI Responses, Anthropic Messages, Gemini generateContent and DeepSeek Chat Completions integrations.
Keys stay server-side
Provider secrets are encrypted with site-specific WordPress salts and are never returned to browser markup.

These are the same official resources wired into the development settings screen. AgentWP does not proxy the request, resell provider usage or hide provider charges inside the plugin licence.
We are a small product workshop. We do not need to turn every useful button into a monthly bill
Similar products probably exist. Before choosing one, ask a simple question: can you keep using the useful part without another mandatory monthly payment?
Product status: Coming soon. Version 0.2.2 is a provider-engine development build. It is not a production or release package, so checkout and download stay closed.
When the release gates pass and sales open, the AgentWP licence will follow one plain principle: pay once and own the product you bought. No mandatory monthly AgentWP subscription.
If a future Pro feature uses an external AI or data provider, that provider’s price and terms will be disclosed separately before purchase — never hidden inside the AgentWP licence.

That is the product direction, not a release claim. The current development build proves the secure provider engine; smart routing profiles, full brand-voice controls and final release gates still belong to the work ahead.
Consent is explicit, keys are encrypted and article content travels directly to the provider you selected
AgentWP does not receive or proxy the article. A connection or generation request begins only after consent, and leaving a key field blank preserves the existing encrypted value instead of exposing it.
Choose the AI market without entering another software subscription maze
