Useful help for a real task
Work from a saved article
The tool reads external image addresses from saved post content. Save your changes before starting; unsaved editor text is not the source for this workflow.
Create local media items
Supported files from allowed public hosts are downloaded into the WordPress Media Library. File size, type and batch limits apply.
Choose URL replacement
You can keep the original image addresses or use the supported option to replace them with local copies. Review the resulting article and attachments.
How the workflow fits together
- Save the article containing the external image URLs you are allowed to copy.
- Review the replacement setting and start the image-saving action.
- Check the downloaded attachments and the article’s resulting image links.
What you need
You need a WordPress website, permission to edit the article and upload media, and the right to copy each image. Network access to supported public image hosts is required. No AI API key is needed.
Your first website →Questions before you start
Can it download from any host?
No. Only supported public sources and accepted files are eligible. Private addresses, blocked sources or unsuitable files may be refused.
Does saving an image give me permission to use it?
No. The plugin handles the transfer, not copyright or permission. Copy only images you are entitled to use.
Does it save every unsaved image in the editor?
No. This workflow reads saved post content and processes a limited batch. Save the article first and review the result before another run.
