Agent Google Login adds a familiar Google sign-in button to WordPress, links verified Google identities with local users and can create a new account when you explicitly allow registration.

Description

Free / bring your Google credentials
A familiar sign-in route without a platform subscription.

Let visitors use their Google account through a WordPress flow you control

Agent Google Login adds a familiar Google sign-in button to WordPress, links verified Google identities with local users and can create a new account when you explicitly allow registration.

Choose from eight button styles, place the flow with a shortcode and set the return destination. You bring a Google Cloud Web OAuth Client ID and Secret; AgentWP adds no monthly login fee.

Agent Google Login connects a Google identity key to a protected WordPress account

The routine that quietly grows with the site

A simple sign-in button often arrives wrapped in a much larger identity platform and another recurring bill

Small sites usually need a clear route into an existing WordPress account, not an enterprise subscription maze. This free plugin keeps the WordPress user as the account of record and uses Google's documented identity flow for the external sign-in step.

Affordable, effortless and beginner-friendly

01

Modern OAuth protection

Authorization Code, PKCE, state, issuer, expiry and replay checks protect the sign-in exchange.

02

Flexible presentation

Eight button styles and a shortcode label or redirect fit several login layouts.

03

Registration is your choice

Allow new verified-email users or limit the flow to accounts that already exist in WordPress.

A short workflow on purpose

Create credentials -> copy the exact redirect URI -> test the sign-in

1

Create a Google OAuth client

Use a Web application credential in Google Cloud and keep its Client Secret private.

2

Paste the exact redirect URI

Copy the URI shown by the plugin into the authorised redirect list in Google Cloud.

3

Choose the local experience

Set registration, button style, label and redirect, then test with a suitable WordPress account.

Where it saves the most attention

  • A membership site offering an easier route into existing WordPress accounts.
  • A small community allowing verified Google users to register without another login platform subscription.
  • A private editorial site linking a Google identity to a local WordPress user.
  • A beginner using the shortcode to place a styled sign-in button on a chosen page.
What you need to start

  • WordPress 6.0 or newer and PHP 7.4 or newer.
  • A Google Cloud project with a Web application OAuth Client ID and Client Secret.
  • The exact redirect URI shown in the plugin must be authorised in the Google credential.
  • A secure HTTPS public site is recommended for a real sign-in flow; Google provider terms and any provider-side limits remain separate from AgentWP.
Official provider setup and policies

Open the official Google pages you need for setup and informed use

These links lead directly to Google's credential console, OpenID Connect documentation and current policy pages. Google controls its service, quotas and terms; AgentWP does not resell them.

An honest deal instead of a subscription maze

We are a small product workshop. We do not need to turn every useful button into a monthly bill

Similar products probably exist. Before choosing one, ask a simple question: can you keep using the useful part without another mandatory monthly payment?

Agent Google Login is Free, so this edition stays free. Paid AgentWP products follow the same plain principle: pay once and own the product you bought, with no mandatory monthly AgentWP subscription. Honest pricing and honest cooperation.

If a future Pro feature uses an external AI or data provider, that provider’s price and terms will be disclosed separately before purchase — never hidden inside the AgentWP licence.

If you want more later

It could coordinate several identity providers when paired with a future Pro access workflow

That direction could add provider choice, access rules and an administrator review layer. The free edition remains a focused Google route with local WordPress users and visible configuration.

Control remains visible

Your Client Secret stays server-side and the requested identity scope stays narrow

The plugin requests the OpenID, email and profile scopes, requires a verified email and keeps the Client Secret out of rendered pages. It adds no AgentWP tracking or analytics.

Free

Replace one forgotten-password detour with a familiar sign-in choice

Bring your own Google credentials, keep the WordPress account and avoid turning a useful login button into another AgentWP subscription.
