Useful help for a real task
Start with the filename
Clean up a descriptive filename into a readable phrase. Generic names such as IMG_2345 are not a useful description of an image.
Protect existing work
Supported bulk and upload helpers target empty alternative-text fields. They leave existing descriptions in place.
Add the human context
The plugin does not look at the pixels or understand the image. Review the proposed text and decide whether a description is appropriate for its use.

What you need

No. It uses filename text, not image recognition or an external vision service.
Will it replace descriptions I wrote myself?

Does this make every image accessible automatically?
No. The appropriate text depends on what the image does in the page. Decorative images may need empty alternative text. Review each result in context.
