What you need

You need a WordPress website, saved content and permission to edit the chosen content type. The local sentence-selection workflow needs no AI API key. Check the released package’s editor support and limits.

Questions before you start

Does it write new facts with AI?

No. This free workflow selects from your existing text locally. It is not generative writing by an external AI provider.

Will it overwrite my existing excerpt silently?

The documented manual apply action asks before replacing a non-empty excerpt; supported restore brings back the previous value. Bulk filling targets empty fields.

Is Smart Excerpt Pro required?

No. The free local workflow stands on its own. This page does not promise capabilities or availability for a separate Pro edition.
